ITPIE uses proprietary algorithms and the organization’s data to create a more detailed model of the IT infrastructure. It has a number of tools that approach the problem of discovering and managing the parts, location, orientation and movement of IT assets. IT assets like network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc…), end user devices (servers, phones, laptops, etc…), systems (EMS, ticketing, project management, etc…) and people are all related and form the constantly changing state of an IT organization. ITPIE, as an integration engine, seeks to combine the various informational systems being used in the organization and bring the data together to form a complete graph of all the components that can be leveraged to answer and solve difficult business intelligence problems.
Collection Engine
Discover what’s really in your network…The Collection Engine is a unique site survey tool that discovers and collects information to support engineering and design activities. Collection Engine has customizable features which allow the users to add and/or modify the tool to fit their specific project needs. The Engine also allows a user to setup autonomous jobs that do collection, analysis, and file transfer. Additionally, ITPIE can be used for data enrichment for third party products.
Analysis Engine
Get to know your network…The Analysis Engine processes both encrypted and decrypted data files collected from the Collection Engine then parses the data and creates reports the user can update, query, filter, and export. Analysis Engine can dynamically map networks providing an accurate network diagram that includes unknown/anonymous devices that have not yet been cataloged or identified on the known network. This tool also allows for data normalization between vendor products.
Configuration Engine
Control your network…The Configuration Engine can be used to push configuration changes to devices automatically using the data collected, analyzed and curated from the previous tools in the Engineering Suite. Configuration Engine makes it easy to roll out large scale changes to networks with thousands of devices with its capability to mitigate multiple errors and allow for the use of standardized device configurations to save time on projects. It also allows you to store backup configurations for all of your devices. The tool, also, allows the user to process templates in bulk, allowing you to take structured data and repackage it into different forms, pulling from data sources like csv files and Excel spreadsheets.
